A Mission Rooted in Access to Care
Oral health is not just a dental issue. It is a public health issue that affects confidence, comfort, wellness, and quality of life.
Through community outreach, education, public health advocacy, and preventive dental care, Dental HyGenerosity works to help more people understand the importance of regular dental checkups, proper oral hygiene, early intervention, and the connection between oral health and overall well-being.

Guatemala Outreach Experience
Tawanna’s dental outreach work in Guatemala remains one of the most meaningful examples of her commitment to access, prevention, and compassionate care.
During this outreach experience, she had the opportunity to serve communities where preventive dental care was not always easy to reach. The work reinforced something she had already seen throughout her career: when people have limited access to care, small oral health concerns can become much larger problems over time.
The Guatemala trip was more than a volunteer experience. It was a reminder that oral health education, screenings, preventive services, and human connection can make a powerful difference when care is brought directly to the people who need it.
Those moments continue to shape the heart of Dental HyGenerosity today. Whether serving locally, traveling for dental hygiene coverage, supporting public health initiatives, or expanding mobile dental care, the mission remains the same: improve oral health through prevention, education, and access to care.

Why Oral Health Education Matters
Education is one of the most powerful tools in preventive care. When people understand what is happening in their mouths, they are better equipped to make informed decisions, ask better questions, and build healthier habits.
Dental HyGenerosity uses education to help individuals and communities better understand oral hygiene, early intervention, preventive services, and the connection between oral health and overall wellness.
This education-first approach supports every part of our work, from community outreach and mobile dentistry to patient conversations and professional partnerships.
